Outside. My Comfort Zone

One of my favourite pastimes when travelling is to see a city (or a landscape) by walking through it and taking photos. Not only do you really get to experience a new place like this, but you also get to see the people and places between the hotel and the “tourist hotspots” that most other would bypass in a taxi or an Uber. This is also an important skill to practice for a photographer. With the prevalence of phone cameras these days, anyone can take a good shot of a beautiful sunset or the Sydney Opera House. But how about a kitty litter mine site or a working class suburb in Yogyakarta?
