Easily the most ambitious project I’ve ever been a part of, the “Stories of Bike” TV series was commissioned by Network 10 in Australia in 2019 and was intended to be shown as part of the channel’s Sunday MotoGP coverage. Planning something never seen before, myself and the other production members travelled the world to sell the idea of a groundbreaking documentary series on “motorcycles and the people who ride them” to both the streaming services and to enlist the help of the world’s best-known motorcycle manufacturers. Interest was strong and decisions on budgets were about to be made. Then came COVID…

Having to still deliver a series for Network 10 and unable to travel overseas, we “pivoted” the idea to focus on our Australian stories and previously-shot footage. The results are one of my proudest achievements and something I plan of revisiting in the future.
